KIA ORA/GREETINGS TO ALL PARENTS AND FRIENDS OF THE SCHOOL

It has been a busy week with Constable Catherine in our classrooms while we are working on “Keeping Ourselves Safe”.  It was great to have parents at our information afternoon last week.  Please remember that you are welcome to contact us or Constable Catherine if you were unable to make the meeting and still have questions.

STAR OF THE WEEK

ALL THINGS CALF CLUB  Lamb

Can we please have all Calf Club and Group Day trophies returned to school as soon as possible. Please clean them before returning.

Does anyone have kids or lambs that can be borrowed or purchased for Calf Club. We have had families asking.  If you do, or know of any, please let the office know.

We will be running the Grocery Raffle again this year so donations of goods can be dropped into the office from now on. Please check expiry dates on items.  The grocery raffle is always well received and it wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of the school community, so thank you.

Calf Club entry forms and rules will be available from the office on Monday.  Attached is a link to the rules which have been updated this year, so please read them. Calf Club Rules 2017

REMINDERS

Something to get your grey matter working.

Thanks to Calum Lee for the following riddle.

What can you hold but not touch?

We will give you the answer next week, but if you think you know and you’re at school next week come into the office and I’ll let you know if you are correct.
