KIA ORA/GREETINGS TO ALL PARENTS AND FRIENDS OF THE SCHOOL
It’s great to see so many entries in our Calf Club Day this year. A reminder to families that preschoolers are welcome to participate too in a very simple lunchtime event with their lamb or goat.
SCHOOL DONATIONS
As we come to the end of term 3 I would like to express a big thank you to all those families who have supported our students by making a school donation. This extra money goes towards providing those little extras including teacher aide time. We have many families now choosing to set up the weekly payment option with Maree.

HAURAKI PLAINS SPEECH COMPETITION
Thursday 14th September
These future leaders represented Turua School at Hauraki College. Although we didn’t place on Thursday, our students should be immensely proud of themselves for having the courage and ability to speak to a large audience. The caliber of speeches were incredible and we added to that standard.
Morgan, Calum, Amber & Matthew, well done!

ALL THINGS CALF CLUB
We have received an amazing amount of entries, which we are very excited about. Calf Club is shaping up to be a very good day.
Please can we have grocery donations to the office. It may seem a long way to Calf Club but it is the week after we get back from the school holidays so is approaching fast!

TROPHIES
I am still waiting on trophies to be returned to the office. Please do this before the end of term!
.
ACCOUNTS
We still have outstanding accounts for Activity Fee. Please remember this is not a donation. Accounts are no longer sent out but you can access your account through your e-portal. If you are not able to do this and want a copy of your account please contact Maree in the office and one will be emailed through to you.
The easiest way of keeping on top of your account is to do a $5.00 per week/per child automatic payment. This will pay all your activity fee and donation and help towards stationery, small trips and uniform. Please come and speak to Maree if you are interested in this. We have over a dozen families doing this at present and all think its great.
FUN RUN AND SCHOLASTIC BOOKS
These have now been ordered and fingers crossed they will be here before the end of the term.
