KIA ORA/GREETINGS TO ALL PARENTS AND FRIENDS OF THE SCHOOL
On Monday we enjoyed a fabulous evening with our Year 8 students and their families. Megan had certainly orchestrated another superb theme to send them on their way. We wish them all the best as they head off to secondary school next year. A big thank you to all our families for your support this year and we wish you all a Merry Christmas and enjoyable break. A reminder that school is closed from 12.30pm on Monday.
JAIME
My time at Turua School was great. I have been here from 5 years old to 12 and it’s been pretty good. I went on two camps. The first was to Taupo and the second to Wellington. My Taupo camp was good. We did high ropes and swimming. In Wellington we went to the movies and watched Wonder Woman. We went to Te Papa and the National War Museum. It was good. It’s been fun this year being a school captain with Skye and helping out the school and stuff.
ALEXIS

Hi,my name is Alexis I’ve been to Turua School since 2015. Most of the best times have been at school hanging with my friends going on camp to Wellington and first time at Rainbows End. Some of my friends have moved but I love to catch up with them in the weekends. Being a leader has been fun! I was cultural leader but now it’s time to leave my legacy at this school for other year 8s to follow in my footsteps in the future. Best luck to all the year 8s to follow.
