KIA ORA/GREETINGS TO ALL PARENTS AND FRIENDS OF THE SCHOOL

Welcome back to Term 3!  It has been a busy week of welcoming students back and planning coming events that fit within the Level 2 guidelines for schools.  Next week we have Calf Club and below is a reminder about how this will operate at our current alert level.  A big thank you to those parents who have put in so much time to make this event happen for our students.  Below is an exert from Iona Holsted – the secretary for Education about events, gatherings and education outside the classroom.  We will be referring to this guidance when making decisions about organising events safely.  The Coming Events calendar displays dates for our planned events but all organisation will be clarified closer to the time to ensure we are meeting all Ministry of Health regulations.

TRANSITION MEETING

Just a reminder that Hauraki Plains College will be on site tomorrow to speak with our Year 8 students and deliver enrolment packs.  It is important that all year 8s are present as it will be their only visit this year.  At this stage there is still a “Big Day Out” day scheduled for the 8th  December where our year 8s travel to HPC and meet their River Guides etc.  Parents will also be invited to part of this day.

SPEECH AWARDS

This morning our students presented their speeches to our judges.  The standard was particularly high and our judges certainly found the task quite […]
