STAFFING
We wish Maryann Attwood all the best as she moves to Taupo this week. Make sure you spare some time to pop in and say goodbye. A big thank you from Turua School for all the events you have organised.Until the end of the term Hayley Fenton and myself will be in the class. The Board has just appointed Kate Butterfield who will begin the new term. Kate has recently moved to the Thames area and is currently teaching at Parawai school. Previously Kate was teaching at New Windsor School in a year 4/5 position and Te Atatu Intermediate as a science teacher. We are very excited to have her join our team.
Enviroschools
It is great to see Anikha Sanders working with our Enviroschools team. They are busy getting our school vege garden in hand and would love donations of any straw or hay to use as mulch. Any spare gardening tools would also be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have any suitable soil they could donate to the school. We need to fill the edges of our lovely new driveway and level it to the lawn. We can collect it if required. Please ring Maree in the office.
