Kia ora koutou,
Congratulations to all our students who travelled to Ngatea yesterday to represent Turua at the Hauraki Plains event. Feedback from those there was that you were all excellent ambassadors for our school. We look forward to recieving the day’s results.

My time at Turua school, I don’t remember much in my first year but one thing… the moment when I met my first friend Peyton. We spent a lot of time together and I met all my friends I have now. Peyton, William, Oliana, Jamie, Ben and my best friend Ethan. My favourite camp was Rotorua. I have so many memories there. Like when me and my friend were scared to go to the bathroom, we got scared and ran down the hallway in panic.
I started at Turua school in 2014 and here I am now a year 8 getting ready for my next big step.
One of my favourite things to do at Turua school was production, I love acting and its so fun to do it with my friends. I will miss this school so much I think it will be hard to leave. I am very grateful for my time at Turua school.
ELLA
One time when I had first started school in Room 3, I remember getting my morning tea out of my bag and everyone
As a year 8 student I think that school has gone by so fast and also think of how much I have learned here at Turua Primary School. I have learnt my times tables, how to count past 1000 and most importantly that we should follow our school motto “My Best Always”. I started school as a year one student and am glad that this is the school I came to. Every second year we go on class camps and the first camp I ever went to with my class was in Taupo at “My Camp”.( I don’t remember much about it because I was only a Year 4).
The next camp I went to was in Rotorua and I remember that a bit better because I was a Year 6. I remember going kayaking, rock wall climbing and lots of other fun activities like that.
The next camp I go on is going to be the best camp of all it because it is going to be my last camp at Turua School and I will be a year 8. We are going to Lakewood Lodge and it is going to be the best because we are going to be going horse riding, I will be with my friends and it will be on my birthday.
My journey at Turua School has been amazing. My amazing new experiences have been endless. I wish I could stay here with my friends forever.
