KIA ORA/GREETINGS TO ALL PARENTS AND FRIENDS OF THE SCHOOL

Welcome back to the new term and an especially warm welcome to all our new students.  It has certainly been a warm start to the year and it is great to see our students remembering to wear their hats in this extreme heat.  We encourage our students to bring their water bottles for use both in and out of the classroom too.  Please note that there has been a change in our sun safe policy and students are now able to wear any broad brimmed hat.

This year we are holding our School Meet and Greet on Wednesday 19th February from 6.00pm – 7.00pm.  Teachers will be in their rooms for the first half hour if you would like a catch up.  The pool will be open for our families and a sausage sizzle will be provided by the Board of Trustees.  We look forward to seeing you there!

STAFFING 2020

Welcome to Teagan Pennell who is starting her teaching career in Te Wheke with Year 4/5.  Please call in to say hello if you have not already done so.  A warm welcome also to Kerie Richardson who has joined us as the Learning Support Coordinator.  Kerie will be working with Kerepehi, Waitakaruru, Kopuarahi and Turua Schools and will be based with us. This year we welcome back Jane Lupton who will be teaching Fridays in Mangopare.
