KIA ORA/GREETINGS TO ALL PARENTS AND FRIENDS OF THE SCHOOL

Awesome to see many of our families at the Welcome Evening last night!  The Board did a great job of cooking the sausages and teachers enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with parents for the new year.  A reminder that the office is now open every day from 8.00am – 1.00pm.

STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS – OUTSIDE SCHOOL

STATIONERY

We still have a few students (Rooms 3,4,7) who have not ordered their stationery from the office.

or in Room 8 who have not paid for classroom set of felts and scissors.

Please do so as soon as possible, so that your child has everything they need to fully participate in class work.

If you are unsure of what your child needs please see Maree in the office.

ACCOUNTS

Unfortunately we still have some outstanding accounts from last year, and even though accounts have been sent and an opportunity given to discuss payment options, no payment has been received.

These accounts will now be referred to the Board of Trustees, at their next meeting.

If you have an outstanding account and wish to discuss payment options, please speak to Maree. Accounts were sent out in the last week of school, last year. All account information, and payment options are kept confidential.

Years 5-8 Girls “Have a Go” cricket.

Soft ball cricket for girls will be happening on Fridays  starting on 28 February.   These sessions will be facilitated by a community coach from Thames Valley Northern Districts Cricket Association and are all about inclusion and giving cricket a go in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The programme will run for 4 weeks starting at 4pm at Hauraki Plains College fields. Each week there will be a mix of skills and fun non- competitive games so no previous cricket experience or gear is needed.
