KIA ORA/GREETINGS TO ALL PARENTS AND FRIENDS OF THE SCHOOL
Awesome to see many of our families at the Welcome Evening last night! The Board did a great job of cooking the sausages and teachers enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with parents for the new year. A reminder that the office is now open every day from 8.00am – 1.00pm.

BOT CASUAL VACANCY
Due to the resignation of Gavin Lee, we have a casual vacancy on the board.
We wish to fill this vacancy by co-opting a new member onto the board.
The legal requirement is that the board must advise the school community of its intentions in a community based newspaper or newsletter.
Please find notification below:

A Casual Vacancy has occurred on the board of trustees for an elected parent representative.
The board has resolved under section 105 of the Education Act 1989 to fill the vacancy by selection.
If ten percent or more of eligible voters on the school roll, ask the board within 28 days of this notice being published, to hold a by-election to fill the vacancy, then a by-election will be held.
Any eligible voter who wishes to ask the board to hold a by-election should write to:
Board of Trustees
523 Hauraki Road
We still have a few students (Rooms 3,4,7) who have not ordered their stationery from the office.
or in Room 8 who have not paid for classroom set of felts and scissors.
Please do so as soon as possible, so that your child has everything they need to fully participate in class work.
If you are unsure of what your child needs please see Maree in the office.
Unfortunately we still have some outstanding accounts from last year, and even though accounts have been sent and an opportunity given to discuss payment options, no payment has been received.
These accounts will now be referred to the Board of Trustees, at their next meeting.
If you have an outstanding account and wish to discuss payment options, please speak to Maree. Accounts were sent out in the last week of school, last year. All account information, and payment options are kept confidential.
To the Lee Family for donating resources to the school.
Also to Michael for donating Lego to the school.
Thank you from everyone at school, your help is greatly appreciated.
