KIA ORA/GREETINGS TO OUR SCHOOL COMMUNITY

Welcome to our final newsletter for 2020!  Last night we fare welled our Year 8’s in a superb formal dinner organised by Megan Way.  We also fare welled some of our families who will end their relationship with Turua School as their youngest child leaves for college.  We hope that you have enjoyed being a part of Turua School and wish you all the best for the future.

Prize Giving is at 1.00pm on Monday 14th December.  This year we will be outside as the hall is filled with our classroom furniture.  It may be advisable to wear a hat as it can be particularly hot at Midday.

Teachers will print out reports and send home Monday.

SWIMMING POOL

Our swimming pool will be open for the community from Saturday 9th January 2021.  Keys may be obtained from the school office from Monday.  The cost is $50 and a $10 bond. You will need to sign an agreement form- available at the office.

TOUCH RUGBY

This week we had our final games for touch.  We would like to say thank you to Joanna Richmond, Brendon Walsh and Mario. Thank you for helping us learn some skills in touch and organising our games each week and our break up party.  Thank you to the parents who helped take kids to touch each week too.  It was very hard, but we have learned so much and it is heaps of fun.
