KIA ORA/GREETINGS TO ALL PARENTS AND FRIENDS OF THE SCHOOL

It is certainly a very busy time of the year with outdoor events and it’s great to see so many of our students able to participate after a year of missing out!  Today our students are attending the Hockey Big Day Out and next week is our School Tryathlon as well as the Netball and Soccer Have a go Days !  Please read the information attached below about the Tryathlon.

STAFFING TERM 2

Next term we are very sad to say goodbye to 2 of our staff members.  Teagan Hill leaves us to move to Taupo and Kay Harrison is having a change of career to join her husband on the farm.  We wish them both all the best and I am sure they will stay in touch.  Next term we welcome Jacky Armstrong to the team who is looking forward to teaching in Te Wheke.  Jacky is no stranger to Turua School and is actually the author of our school song!
