THIS WEEK IN GARDEN TO TABLE
This week garden to table were learning about pumpkins! The gardeners learned that worms love pumpkin and put Ms Butterfield’s giant pumpkin into our worm farm as a science experiment. In the kitchen it was time for yummy pumpkin soup and herb scones. Many kids were asking for seconds and thirds!”
Are you interested in the holiday programme?
Holiday programme will be from Tuesday 27th April through to Friday 30th April. If you are interested please contact the afterschool team or the office. Can you please let us know if your child/children are to attend by Thursday 1st April. This will give us time to let families know if there is enough interest to run the programme or if they will need to make other child care arrangements.
The lost property pile continues to grow daily. If your child is missing any items of clothing please come and check it out. Remember naming clothing is the only way we can identify who owns what and reunite items with their owners.
SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB
Catalogues were sent home last week for Issue 2. If we could have orders into the office or placed online through the scholastic LOOP platform by Thursday 1st April, then books will be received before the school holidays start.
Please if bringing orders into the office, ensure the form is filled in with the order code and book title and it has your child’s name at the top. Please place money and order form in a named envelope and place in the class box. Please do not leave envelopes with money on the office desk if it is unattended, no responsibility will be accepted for any money left on the desk.
