KIA ORA/GREETINGS TO ALL PARENTS AND FRIENDS OF THE SCHOOL

This week brings a little sadness to Turua School as we will be fare welling  our awesome office administrator Maree.  Maree has been a valuable colleague for the past 7 years and we wish her all the very best in her new venture.  We are certainly going to miss you!

Jenna Quirk has been appointed to the role and has been busy training with Maree this week.  We are very excited to have Jenna join our team and look forward to working with her.  I am sure that you will all make her feel very welcome.

HEALTHY SCHOOL LUNCHES

We are excited to confirm that Turua School is joining the Healthy Lunch Programme next term with lunch provided daily for all students.  The lunches have been contracted to Paeroa Subway for three days per week and the other two with Kerr & Ladbrook catering.  The lunches will be delivered to school for distribution at 12.30pm.  Children will still require morning tea.  If your child has special dietary requirements including dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian or vegan please contact the school office before the end of term so that we can organise appropriate alternatives.

PHOTOLIFE PHOTOS

School photos tomorrow Friday the 2nd July. They will start early so don’t be late for school. If you have sibling forms to return please do this first thing in the morning.

Don’t forget to bring your big smile!

CALF CLUB

It’s nearly time, the year is mooooving along at a rapid rate. I kid you not (see what I did there?), today is the day. It’s the first of July so any kid, lamb, or calf born from now until the end of August is eligible for entry to calf club. And don’t forget about our DIY competition. Entry forms and an information session will be held when we get back for term three. In the meantime though if you want to ask any questions or find out more please don’t hesitate to ask. Feel free to email pta@turua.school.nz or ask at school someone will be able to help you out.
