KIA ORA/GREETINGS TO ALL PARENTS AND FRIENDS OF THE SCHOOL
Welcome back to Term 3. My apologies to anyone who did not get a response from a message they may have left at the office. After the power outage both our internet and recorder were out of action. It has now been restored!
Our lunches are being delivered daily and we have had a really positive response from our students. Those who do not finish the prepared food are encouraged to take it home. A reminder that they will still need snacks for morning tea and After School Care if they attend.
On Thursday 12th August we will be holding our Student Learning Conferences for parents to talk with teachers and discuss their child’s goals and achievements. We have asked that these booking forms are returned as soon as possible to confirm a spot. Please feel free to arrange another time with class teachers if this does not suit you.

GARDEN TO TABLE
This week in Garden to Table our tamariki were learning to identify NZ native trees and plants and finding them around the school. Students also got hands on constructing parts of our new greenhouse and moving compost and woodchip. Great work! In the kitchen chefs were cooking up pizza with a cauliflower base! Good reviews from the kids! Try it at home!
CALF CLUB: This will be held at the beginning of term 4. Date yet to be confirmed. Entry forms and information books will be available from Monday the 2nd of August in the office. Please just ask if you would like any information.
OXFORD PIES: Thank you to everyone who has returned forms and money, it looks like some hungry mouths will be fed well. Keep these rolling in please, the last day for orders is Wednesday August 4th.
MEETING: Our next PTA meeting will be on Monday August 2nd at 7pm in the staffroom. All welcome, see you there.
