KIA ORA/GREETINGS TO ALL PARENTS AND FRIENDS OF THE SCHOOL

It’s great to see our students starting to get back into routine again.  Thank you to all those parents who are keeping their children home if unwell.  The recent events at Mangatangi School demonstrate the impact of students attending school with any symptoms.  The teachers spent much of Monday preparing students with resources in case our alert level was raised.  Thank you to all those families who ensured devices were returned the next day.  Let’s hope that we all get back to level 1 as soon as possible!

TRANSITION MEETING

Just a reminder that Hauraki Plains College will be on site tomorrow to speak with our Year 8 students and deliver enrolment packs.  It is important that all year 8s are present as it will be their only visit this year.  At this stage there is still a “Big Day Out” day scheduled for the 8th  December where our year 8s travel to HPC and meet their River Guides etc.  Parents will also be invited to part of this day.

SPEECH AWARDS

This morning our students presented their speeches to our judges.  The standard was particularly high and our judges certainly found the task quite difficult.  Congratulations to all our students who presented their speeches today.
