Enrolment of Five Year Olds and School
Please contact the School Office (ph. 07 8675003) two weeks before your child turns FIVE to organise four mornings of visits in our New Entrant class. Visits usually take place in the morning programme from 9:00am – 10:30am and you are welcome to stay for morning tea until 10: 50am. Parents/caregivers are required to stay during these visits. With each school visit, children grow more confident in their new school environment; make new friends or meet up with old pre-school friends again and prepare for a happy start at school.
Tuesday and Thursday mornings are preferred days for visits, however, you may arrange alternate days with the New Entrant teacher through the School Office.
On your first visit to school, please bring your child’s Birth Certificate and Immunisation Records to the School Office for enrolment to take place. An Enrolment Pack with information about our school as well as a Stationery List may also be collected from the Office. Stationery can be purchased from Warehouse Stationery, Thames while the School Office sells: chair bags; Kluwell Reading Logs; My Dictionary Books; Sun hats and School T-shirts.
During school visits you are invited to make an appointment to meet our Principal, Tracey Fisher.
After School Care
We run an exciting after school programme where children will be supervised from 3.00 through to 5.30pm. These hours are flexible to meet with your requirements. You may book your child in for 5 days per week or once again this is flexible and you may choose days that suit, we do however need to have notification prior to the day you want your child to attend to ensure that we have a space available. Each day there will be a stimulating programme planned for your child to enjoy.
Class Trip / Events Money and Book Orders

Your child’s name, Lucky Book Club or trip/event, class number and the total amount enclosed, printed on the outside of the envelope. A receipt will be returned to you. Closing dates for book orders are notified in the School newsletters.
