The Parents and Teachers Association at Turua School is a dedicated group of parent and staff volunteers working together to support the school and provide a link for parents to be involved.
Our main goal is to help provide resources and support for the students, staff and board of trustees. In the past year we have raised money that has been used to purchase iPads, sport shirts, classroom books and even to help retain a fourth teacher at the school. We run various fundraisers throughout the year including raffles, food stalls, and the chick flick. The PTA is also responsible for organising the Turua School calf club, and every Wednesday we make and sell lunches at school.
Joining the PTA is a great way to find out about the school and the families of our community who make Turua School a great place. You can be involved as much as you like and we welcome you to join us at meetings (advertised in the school newsletter), we are always keen to hear new ideas and get feedback.
